Ebel 1911 BTR AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH This watch has been fully cleaned inside and serviced. The watch is keeping good time and is in full working orderThe 1911 is a popular Ebel model that was named in honour of the year the company was founded by Eugene and Alice Blum. ‘BTR’ stands for Back to Roots as the company has brought back some of the original design elements. Both the case and bracelet are made of brushed and polished steel and the caseback has a sapphire crystal display secured by four screws. There is a tachometer around the silver dial and both the hand indicators and hour markers are luminous. Other features include an automatic C.O.S.C. certified movement, chronograph sub-dial movement and a screw down crown.In terms of functionality, offers two hands with a small second at nine for the time of the day, along with a central sweep second chronograph complication with 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, and a date aperture with fast date correction feature at half past four.This Lemania based mechanical calibre consists of no less than 322 individual components, with 27 jewels bearing, and features an innovative technical solutions called the “magic clicks”. It is a unique mechanism that include an off-centered reversing device that enables bidirectional winding, resulting in enhanced performance. Its oscillating weight, that winds in both directions, bears the  watches that houses this caliber comes with a see-through caseback. Its chrono sports a shuttle chronograph mechanism, while the date module uses a semi-instantaneous action date disk.
