Powered by the Gruen 450, this monopusher was made for doctors to measure heart rates, though it also has a tachymeter scale centered on the dial. The rest of the dial is shockingly clean: raised gold markers at the hours, numerals at the 3, 6, and 12, and running seconds at 9. The hands have blued and all the lume's worn away but they look tremendous for it, and the chrono second hand's gone an antique red. The rest of the 33mm case is equally stunning: crisp pusher at 4, intricate and beautiful lugs, and a Gruen-signed stainless steel case back. No significant scratches to be seen. Just back from the shop and running well--+/-3 seconds/day--with a clean, signed, column-wheel movement. Comes with the black after market leather band pictured.
