Military Issued 1972 Hamilton 6BB RAF Pilots Chronograph 17 Jewel Valjoux Cal.7733 British Military Broad Arrow Hand Wind Watch in good working order and good used condition, with Red, White & Blue NATO Strap. The steel watch case and case back have faint user marks, strap marks on case back and the lumi markers and hands have faint age and wear, all consistent with it's age and use.In some cases, these watches were issued to one unit, then returned and reissued through another unit, RN-issued watches were reissued to the RAF. The “0552” marking was struck through with lines and the RAF markings engraved above [see article http://wornandwound.com/time-spec-1970s-british-military-asymmetrical-chronographs/ for more information]The all steel asymmetrical case measures approx. 37mm exc. the crown and pushers x 47mm over the 20mm wide fixed bar lugs and slotted screw down case back. The case back is signed, 6BB, [0552]/924-3306, 2119/72 and with the military broad arrow. The inside of the case back is signed, 1394712.The all original black military dial has lumi and white numerals and markers, running sub seconds dial at 9, 30 minute chronograph timing sub dial with 'flyback' hand at 3, lumi hands and white centre sweep 'flyback' chronograph timing seconds hand.
