Alpina 18K Solid Rose Gold "StarTimer Pilot" with 100% In-house Manufacture Automatic Movement. Limited Edition
Size: large size men's watch measuring 44mm in diameter.
Featuring completely in-house, and EXTREMELY RELIABLE AND ROBUST, Alpina A710 movement. Beautifully decorated movement with Cote-de-Geneve pattern. Innovative rotor and winding mechanism.
Dial: black dial with luminous / rose gold markers and luminous hands.
Functionality: Central Sweeping second, date at 6'O clock.

It is a hefty piece weighing approximately 134 grams - that's a lot of gold.
100% Brand new, comes complete with all box and papers as shown. This is a historically iconic design, and is important in Alpina's history as an instrument manufacture for pilots, in the 1920's.
This is the very top of the line Alpina. Do not confuse it with the regulator Alpina line. The finishing on the gold case is exquisite, and exhibits interlacing of brushed and high-polish. The dial is a beautiful black dial with sun-ray finishing - matches very well with the rose gold case.
Current retail for $14999. Entirely Sold out.
I think it is a great value at this price. Considering the expensive gold materials, the size of the watch, the amount of finishing on the case and the in-house movement. It is limited edition of 888, and Apina has produced only around 200 so far, due to the high production costs. I think Alpina has priced the watch too low given the amount of cost put into the watch. Therefore, this model is very rarely discounted.
This piece closely resembles the look and feel of the IWC Big Pilot Rose Gold, but at a fraction of the price.
