I will SHIP WORLDWIDEThis is a stunning White Coloured Porcelain Dial WW1 Trench watch but it is historically important due to the fantastic engraving that the watch carries...a true historical artefact.PresentedtoPTE WhalleyAs a token of appreciationby the Boys of the21st M.A.C.6-1-17Its silver case, measuring 32mm not including the crown or lugs, is not hallmarked but does have a Swan emblem this is the French mark for imported silver. So we know the "boys" bought the watch in France...the plot thickens what did Pte Whalley do? The original pumpkin crown is superb and winds and sets very strongly.The hands are awesome and of the cathedral type which with the numerals carry some of the original luminous paint. The dial has 12 and 24 hour chapters, nice and unusual.The movement which is running well and keeping time is unsigned, however is a Fontainmelon movement.Is it wearable, oh YES this is a watch made for wearing and will catch the eye of many as your arm rests on the bar of your local pub.We ship WORLDWIDE, checkout www.WW1watch.com
