For very reluctant sale, my Citizen HAQ The Citizen watch, in stainless steel and with unusual black vertical pin stripe dial. The model number is AQ1010-54E (also known as A010-T018530).It comes on the original stainless steel bracelet with butterfly clasp. The Citizen watches are the premiere watches in Citizen's range, akin to Grand Seikos, with the High Accuracy Quartz models widely regarded as being the most accurate watches in the world (obviously excluding those that continuously self-adjust using radio or satellite signals). They are extremely rare to find outside of the Japanese domestic market and are actually made in Japan, unlike many widely available Citizen models.The movement in this watch is built around a sealed, thermo-compensated quartz timekeeping module and it features a perpetual calendar (date display only). It has a date display and quick set hour hand for rapid time zone adjustment and date setting. This is actually an eco-drive watch, with an internal battery which is solar charged. There is a power reserve gauge which shows the battery charge level at any given point.The quality and finish of the watch case, bracelet, and dial is exemplary. The hour, minute, and second hands, along with the hour batons on the dial, are all diamond cut and highly polished. A domed sapphire crystal covers the face and the watch back is a solid steel screw down type, featuring the deeply engraved The Citizen crest. The case diameter measures 37.5mm excluding the crown, which is of the push down variety, and the lugs are 20mm width.I actually obtained this watch from Japan and it is complete with original inner and outer boxes, as well as the original manual. It was already missing the original warranty card when I got it; I have had no problems with it so I cannot see this being an issue. It is a 100% genuine watch, guaranteed by the dealer I sourced it from, and I will refund the winning buyer, no questions asked if it is independently found not to be. If you really do want one, a replacement card can be requested from Citizen.The watch is in excellent condition and has been worn carefully. It has 2 very small scratches on the bezel, though they are barely noticeable without close inspection. The bracelet has minor, typical marks of wear and all the links are in place. Please see the photos - I have tried to show the marks but they really are difficult to spot. The crystal has no marks that I can see. There are no dents or major marks on the watch case or bracelet. The watch back still has the protective plastic film in place.I am in the processing of having to sell off most of my watches due to an unfortunate change in personal circumstances. This is one of my rarest pieces and I was hoping not to have to see it go. This is an opportunity for a collector to pick up a rare and exceptional watch at a great price. If buying within the EU then there will be no import duty applicable on the watch, which will be the case to get one from Japan.
