HAMILTON ELECTRIC ... The Ventura ... 1959 ... Called the Elvis Watch ... American Made ... Nice Caliber 500 ... Heavy, solid 14kt Yellow Gold Case ... 50mm long X 32mm wide ... The jet black & gold original dial is stunning but under a loop you can see slight signs of it's age ... A handsome watch with real history designed by Richard Arbib from The Pratt Institute of Design ... He also designed cars, trains, planes as well as watches ... He dated Bette Page ... Google it! ... I bought this from the original owner about 35 years ago ... he seldom wore it ... Stored it in my safe for all these years ... I put a battery in it about two years ago, it ran fine ... wore it to a wedding ... Pulled out the crown for storage and placed the watch back in my safe ... Took it out last week and the battery was dead ... removed battery ... see pix before and after ... I'm going to put a fresh battery in and report back whether it runs or not ... I'm not going to have it cleaned because Fresno is a small town without the watch making talent found in LA or San Francisco ... Movement runs when rocked, it looks beautiful too ... Sold as is starting at just $4.99 ... Comes with a Vintage Genuine Crocodile strap ... Thank you & good luck.

I pretty sure it's a low mileage watch because itlooks fresh and new. Tight snap back case, excellent crown ... The original owner never wore it much and I think I wore once to a wedding and other than that ... it's been living in my safe for a long time. A service in the future might not be a bad idea.
