Chronoswiss Timemaster Chronograph Skeleton have stainless steel cases (44 mm in diameter and 15.3 mm thick) with bezels made of polished, black DLC (“diamond-like carbon”), an extremely hard and scratch-resistant material. The features a 5-minutes scale with inlays made of Super-LumiNova. The 52-part case has a nonreflective sapphire crystal, a threaded, embossed screw-down caseback, screw-in lugs with Chronoswiss’s patented Autobloc system, and a vintage-style “onion” , a hallmark of the Chronoswiss brand. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters. The two dial variations are galvanic black and galvanic silver. The former (Ref. 9043 SB bk) uses white Super-LumiNova for its highlights, including the bezel numerals, hour indices, and hands; the silver-dial version (Ref. 9043 SB si) uses a turquoise-colored Super-LumiNova for these elements. Both dials have the date display on a subdial at 3 o’clock, 30-minute chronograph counter subdial at 12 o’clock, 12-hour chronograph counter subdial at 6 o’clock, and small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock. The watch comes on a black rubber strap with a folding clasp. The main attraction, of course, is the skeletonized movement, Caliber C.741 S, which is 30 mm in diameter and 7.9 mm thick. It has 25 jewels, a Glucydur with Nivarox balance spring, Incabloc shock protection, a frequency of 28,800 vph, and a power reserve of 46 hours. Its numerous decorative elements include a skeletonized rotor with , a polished pallet lever and escape wheel, bridges and baseplate with perlage, and blackened parts.
