The Glashütte Original in-house design team has made a number of changes to the existing models to achieve a stunning new look that is both classic and contemporary at once. The bezel has been cut back to make room for a lacquered silver-grain dial whose finely textured surface forms a sumptuous backdrop for deep black Roman numerals and a classic black railroad chapter ring. Glashütte Original’s compelling panorama date display is presented in black on an ivory ground matching the colour of the dial, and new blued-steel “poire” shaped hands enhance the elegance of the new design.Located between the 10 and 11 o'clock positions, the stylized moon phase indicator provides excellent balance to the large digital date display at four o'clock, while central blued steel hands ensure uninterrupted reading of hours, minutes and seconds upon the varnished silver dial.
