Lemania Military Chronograph Single Pusher HS9 - 1960's - RARE Vintage Lemania Military Chronograph HS9 issued to the Royal Pilot of Fleet Air arm. This Lemania watch is in a 38.5mm steel case with a white pilots dial featuring Military fat arrow, Tritium luminous dot markers and original syringe hands, large winding crown (so could be wound whilst wearing gloves), twin sub dials and single push button manual chronograph movement. As you can see from the photographs this Lemania watch was reissued/strike out by the Navy, and has the HS9 1420 stamped with the strike out to 0552/924-3305 on the watch back. This is a very rare watch and is very unusual to find a Lemania HS9 in completely original condition.   The movement functions well, but at present the chrono finger and the right hand sub dial don't return to '12 O'clock' on a push. The pusher starts and stops the chrono but on the third 'push' doesn't return. The 9th picture shows a close up of the problem. A small lever has broken!. I have however seen this part for sale on ebay but can't locate it now. I will post if I find it again. I can't really account for time keeping naturally although it is ticking away very strongly. The case is in very good and totally original condition albeit a few scratches as you can see to the case back. The glass is also very good. I have also shown a picture of very light scuffing to the inner area of the dial where possibly fingers have been realigned by the MOD stores. (Not greatly noticeable but like to mention for fairness). No Reserve & a rare opportunity.
Viewing is welcome.
I will send abroad by courier other than Royal Mail (DHL) for insurance reasons but be aware there may be customs duty.
Europe is usually £35, USA £40 and eg. Hong Kong £50. I will send an invoice when completed.
