Here we have a  1960 Enicar Sherpa Graph Chronograph MK1 Jim Clark with a very rare Tachymetre Base 1000 dial.  Most just state Tachymetre or are blank.  Feel free to message me about the watch  The watch is running well & in great condition for its age  You can view a video of the auctioned watch below  You might have to copy the link into a new browser window https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPQ0zvUU8rc Please read the full important information below Dial & Hands  Original unrestored Enicar black dial in marvellous condition for its age. It's a very rare dial worded Tachymetre Base 1000 around the edge.  There are not many in existence with this on the dial a true Enicar collector will understand this  The sub dials are in very nice condition also as seen in the pictures.  The lume dots have faded which is expected for a watch of its age. Original paddle hands in very good condition for their age as seen in the pictures. Original red chrono hand also in good condition.  The other hands are also in good condition however I believe that the minute and hour chrono register hands have been replaced. Crystal  Plexi glass crystal in good condition for its age with very little signs of wear other than a few expected marks as seen in the pictures  Case  Original stainless steel 40mm case in good condition for its age with some expected light scratches of use as seen in the pictures. Part brushed part polished as seen in the photos.  The case measures at 40mm excluding the crown with a 20mm lug size  Crown & Pushers  Original Enicar Saturn logo hatched crown in good condition functioning well. The watch winds and sets the time without issues. The pushers are also in good condition as seen in the pictures functioning well, starting stopping and resetting the chrono back to 12  Case back  The case back has either been replaced or is some kind of prototype case. I cannot back this up so I would warm more towards the fact that it has been replaced for some reason. It is marked on the inside with the diver logo, 6235, 72 VHZ (Valjoux 72) 3-60 (March 1960). The date does match up to the correct period when the MK1 Graphs were released.  Movement  Nice and clean functioning well Valjoux 72 movement. Marked Enicar, Swiss, adjusted, 17 jewels. It keeps time well, the chrono runs well & has been oiled and checked by my watchmaker, however I would always recommend a full service on a vintage watch  Strap & Buckle  Brand new leather black Tropic style 20mm strap complete with a stainless steel Enicar buckle in good condition  Overall this is a wonderful watch in great condition minus the unfortunate case back and hands. I have reflected this in the price. Please feel free to ask any questions  Bank transfer is the acceptable form of payment Please look at my feedback as I aim to please  I ship to Europe (excluding Italy) and the United States of America only.  However, if you are seriously interested please message me before bidding  if you do not live in either Europe or the US All items sent via DHL Express fully insured  In most cases the delivery is next delivery from the day I sent it.  Items sent Monday to Friday only This is not negotiable so please do not ask me to send it via regular post because it's cheaper. It might be more expensive via DHL but it is a much better insured reliable service and in most cases it is next day delivery (excluding very far away countries).  All non payers are strictly reported to Ebay  Important info please read Old-vintage-retro watches are more fragile than new watches. They can be easily over wound and damaged. 8-9 turns of the winding crown (from when they stop) is all that is necessary. Sometimes a gentle shake (right to left from 9 to 3 o'clock face up) is helpful to get them going Unless a recent service is mentioned in the listing it is always recommended to service a vintage watch Vintage means old so some small defects are acceptable due to the age of the watch No waterproof tests are completed therefore it is strongly advised to keep them away from water  No timing tests are completed unless mentioned in the listing  No papers or original box are included in the listing unless stated.  We cannot offer guarantees with any of the watches as they're 2nd hand and we do not know the history unless mentioned in the listing Please do not expect the accuracy of a new modern watch       Please note:  All watches are videoed running/ticking before sending Thank you kindly
