Incredible, 18k oversize 40mm vintage gent's luxury chronograph from ITA Geneve. This is New Old Stock in mint condition! All solid gold tri-part case with long lugs. Gold marked on each case part: 18 karat, 0.750 and Swiss maker's marks. Flawless dome crystal. Stunning original salmon & gold dial, never refinished. Features gold Sword hands, dual guilloche registers, mirror-gilt Arabic numerals and blue Tachymeter track. The pics are the best description, please view them. The watch is unsold, undamaged New Old Stock. There are a few age speckles on the dial & hands as it's impossible for any 60+ year old item not to have some such signs of natural aging. Anything you see on the case itself is only a reflection or a shadow: there are no dents or other issues. Overall it's like-new and ready to wear. Running strong on its Swiss winding Landeron cal. 51 chronograph movement with 17 ruby jewels and antimagnetic protection. Professionally serviced in 2014 and keeps great time. Stopwatch/Chrono function starts, stops and snaps back on reset with perfect alignment. Movement is bright, clean, and has 99% original finish. See pic. As with anything vintage, accuracy cannot be guaranteed and regular serviced is recommended. This is a big men's watch (considered oversize in its era) at 40mm without crown, 47mm lug to lug. In a rare exception to most vintage pieces, this is the same size as most men's sport watches today. It also wears large on the wrist due to its slim bezel/large dial design. Comes as pictured on genuine, fully stitched 20mm Crocodile leather band in pink to compliment the pink gold case. II understand pink may be too bold for some people's taste. I can exchange the pink to a dark brown Croc band with a slightly different grain pattern at time of sale - just leave me a note if you want that instead.
The original leather had dried and cracked in storage so the band is the only aftermarket addition. EDIT: Since I've had questions about it: Total gold weight of the case (including dust cover and crystal but without movement or band) is approximately 43g by my scale. Your scale may show slight variance. Please view pics carefully as they show the item you will receive and describe the condition. I do ship Worldwide, but No shipping to Russia, Vietnam, and a few other areas where guaranteed, signed-for delivery isn't possible.
