F.P Journe Chronometre Souverain 40MM, platinum on a strap with a platinum tang buckle, manual wind movement (FP Journe Calibre 1304), 56 hours power reserve, COSC, small seconds, silver guilloche dial with Arabic numerals (please note there is a small aging spot at 8 o clock), water resistant to 30 meters, diameter: 40mm, thickness: 8.8mm, Excellent Condition with Box and Papers dated 03 / 2006This is a platinum F.P Journe Chronometre Souverain. It has a leather strap with a matching platinum tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 40mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and rounded bezel are polished. The display case back is sapphire crystal secured with 6 screws. The dial is guilloche silver with painted black Arabic numeral hour markers on a plain reserve, blued steel Journe hands, and an outer minute satin silver chapter ring. There is a power reserve sector for the up-and -down indication at the 3 o'clock position, and a small seconds sub dial between 7 and 8 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and there is a 56-hour power reserve. It includes a Certified Official Swiss Chronograph (COSC) certification. The 8.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The manual winding F.P. Journe caliber 1304 movement is 18K rose gold, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic 4-arm balance adjusted to 6 positions with 4 eccentric timing weights, a self-compensating free sprung flat balance spring, twin barrels, and a gold wheel train.
