"Dirk Pitt" Limited Edition Orange Faced "Doxa" Dive Watch No 1140/3000This watch was based on a Doxa Sub 600T and was launched as a commemorative issue coinciding with the 2005 film "Sahara" based on a book by Clive Cussler and featuring his character Dirk Pitt that always wore an Orange Faced Doxa Dive Watch on his adventures. In the film Matthew McConaughey played the character of Dirk Pitt.This watch is number 1140 out of a limited edition of 3000.The watch was owned by me from new and works as it should, it also has the usual Doxa dive watch issues e.g the paint on the Bezel Markings comes off. It also has some surface marks from being worn (but could easily be reconditioned to a new standard - reflected in the price)It also has the aluminium tube spare link and strap tool, and is priced to sell.Good Luck and thanks for looking.
