I am liquidating some more watches from my collection acquired over the past 60 plus   years.  They have brought me much pleasure, but I must start passing them along to be appreciated by those with similar interests.   Offered at no reserve, this item is a very nice, all original and fully functional Enicar Sherpa Graph chronograph Mark I/B from April 1962.  The movement is a 17 jewel Valjoux Caliber 72. It is running strong and keeping good time.  All chronograph functions are working perfectly.  The case is 100% stainless steel.  I acquired the watch in the mid 70’s.  It was serviced about 5 years ago.   This is a well cared for vintage watch. The dial and hands are original with faint luminous markings.   The dial is very clean with some signs of age.  I would rate it at approximately 90% to 95%.  The watch is entirely original with the exception of the band which is a replacement.
I want to point out that I was unable to make comment on the water resistance of this watch due to its age, however there was a great deal of publicity regarding the water resistance of Enicar watches.  The cases were made by made by EPSA (Ervin Piquerez S.A.) of super compressor fame and on the inside of the case back of the Sherpa Graph, there is the typical diving helmet logo found on EPSA made cases.  The crown also bears the crosshatch engravings found on so many super compressor dive watches.  In the 1950's Enicar had one of their watches attached to the keel of a transoceanic vessel and also I was told that one was attached to a skiers skis for a week at some winter event.  It was about this time that Enicar started referring to their highly water resistant watches as Seapearls.  The back of the Sherpa Graph bears this designation.
The case diameter including the crown is 43mm.  The lug width (for a band) is nominal 20/0mm.  Attached are some websites you may find interesting:    I ACCEPT PAYPAL PAYMENTS ONLY!  BIDDERS OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES MUST OBTAIN PRIOR APPROVAL FROM ME BEFORE BIDDING.  I STRICTLY OBSERVE ALL RELAVENT REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS WITH REGARD TO CUSTOMS FORMS AND APPRAISALS.    Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
