Beautiful "New Old Stock" vintage chronograph. Made in the 1940's and I bought a few years ago from the Watch auction company, Antiquorum. I have put the watch on, but never wore it.
Watch is made if 18kt Rose gold and the case is magnificent and in new condition. Case is 37.5mm and sits very nicely on the wrist. The watch winds and runs as if it was new. All chronograph functions work properly and smoothly.
I have not opened the back, or have asked my watchmaker to do so......there is not a mark on case back & I wanted to keep I that way.
Chronographe Suisse was the Timex of Swiss watchmaking in the 40's and 50's. The look and especially the dial are striking and would look great on your wrist. For the price, you cannot get a better vintage chronograph. This is a great way to get into vintage watch collecting.
Yes, you can but one (used) for $700-1200 on eBay, but for a few hundred more, why not buy a new one that is 70 years old.I have many more pictures I can send you, let me know. I am an active member on the Heuer website On the Dash. Search for my name Brook to get my contact information.
