It has a composite rubber strap with a stainless steel GP double folding deployment buckle, and an anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back engraved with, "Girard Perregaux – 49960," and a serial number. In the center is a high relief Sea Hawk emblem. The screw-down winding crown is completely protected a t the 4 o'clock position, and there is a helium escape valve on the left side of the case at 9 o'clock. The 44mm diameter solid three-body case, integral lugs, and directional revolving bezel are brushed. The dial is metallic blue honeycomb pattern, with large applied luminous trapezoid, dot, and triangle hour makers around a perimeter minute track. It has Broad arrow luminous hands – grey for the hour hand, and orange for the minute hand. There is a running seconds subsidiary dial between 10 and 11 o'clock, and a date aperture window is between 1 and 2 o'clock. There is a 46-hour power reserve arc at 6 o'clock with a luminous hand. The 60-minute black and orange bezel has a rubber coated insert with a luminous dot at 12 o'clock. It's water resistant to 1000 meters/3300 feet, and the 17mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
