Here, we have one of the truly rare finds—a vintage 18K solid rose gold Chronographe Suisse watch from circa 1940's This important watch was originally crafted, assembled and decorated by the hands of an elite Chronographe Suisse watchmaker at their workshop in Switzerland. This watch dates to the 1940's. It houses a 17-jewel mechanical manual wind movement. It features a chronograph dial that is in amazing condition. From the dramatic dial to the fully original hand-crafted movement, every piece about this special watch showcases the incredible quality one would expect from the fine Swiss watchmaker. I was fortunate to acquire this gorgeous watch in nice condition from the son of it's deceased ORIGINAL OWNER. The solid 18K gold case is in GREAT condition. The attractive original dial is in pristine condition, and the high-grade 17-jewel movement is very clean, currently keeping extraordinarily accurate time. The Movement, Case, and Dial are all exclusively Chronographe Suisse. This signed Chronographe Suisse, with its classic, elegant design, is simply superb, measuring a full 38MM in diameter, excluding the crown. The dial of this watch is in pristine condition, appearing to my eye as it did more than 70 years ago! The high-grade movement is clean. Triple-signed Chronographe Suisse vintage watches like this one consistently increase in value through the years.
