De Bethune started to its watches in an atelier style, almost 'tailor made' watches of highest elegance and refinement, and with a focus on the best possible finish. Without doubt, they make some of the finest watches in the world today. Right now they are making roughly 200 watches per year and have plans to ultimately finish 1200 watches per year in the future. For this relatively low number, they make quite an effort. Almost all of the movements they use are manufactured in-house. For so few watches, they already have an extremely impressive collection to offer. All of the DeBethune wrist watches in this style are made in precious metal cases made of gold or platinum and have the characteristic ogival lugs. The dials are guilloched by hand. The movements are also entirely hand assembled. The featured watch is a DeBethune DB25 L in 18k White gold drum-shaped case, measuring 44 mm diameter, 18k White gold fixed bezel, 18k white gold lugs. Mechanical hand-wound Calibre DB 2105V1-29 jewels , Power reserve 6 days. It has a Gray Anthracite elegant hand-Guilloche dial, it is lower set and in an unencumbered space divided into 12 large segments of equal size, curved polished flame Steel minute and hour hands, the convex outer ring with the minute ring, comprised of simple indices, at its edge, which is followed on the inside by a wide hour ring with big, Roman Numerals.
