Description This watch is in fine condition. It is guaranteed running and keeping time Issued between 1947-51, the Hamilton Cambridge platinum rectangular was not very popular and was not a big selling item. It was made to order as a presentation watch before it was included in the published catalogue in 1951. The platinum case is nice and smooth not showing much wear . Some very light micro fine scratches from use. The case back is very nice with no engravings the inner case back is marked only Hamilton - .900 platinum/ .100 iridium- serial # S379411 S&W The glass crystal is NOS. The original Silver dial is very good to excellent . It features the rhodium plated 18kt gold numerals & 3 cut diamond marker at 12 with larger point diamonds at 3 & 9. Rhodium white gold hands are also excellent . This watch is powered by a 19 jewel 982M movement serial M64470 dating to 1947, in perfect working order . Also includes a Hadley-Roma black leather strap... total length 7 1/2" - 8". .........questions promptly answered.......THANK YOU!
