The substantial stainless steel case has a unidirectional rotating bezel featuring Arabic numerals and curved edges that extend over the sides of the case. The case is 42mm but is more like 45mm with the bezel. This feature makes it much easier to grip and rotate the bezel. A texture edge crown is joined by two function pushers on either side, with a third function pusher at the 8 o'clock position which turns the alarm function on and off. The crown is push/pull with double seals to bring the 200m water resistance rating. The movement is the Fortis caliber F 2001-5 (base valjoux 7750) automatic chronograph with alarm function. The movement has two spring barrels for independent power reserve of the alarm and chronograph. The movement also utilizes an Incabloc shock system. The aluminum dial in black has white and orange accents, is finely detailed and is protected by a double AR coated sapphire crystal. The detail of this dial is outstanding and shows the superb workmanship of Fortis watches in this high end example. The movement is certified by the Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute and the official certifying document issued to this timepiece is included. The individually numbered limitation plate with 203/300 is screwed to the side of the case. The timepiece comes in the original package box with documentation.
