I’m pleased to offer this highly unusual chronograph, signed on the dial by Huber, a high-end Munich jeweler. It dates to the 1940s and has the black dial and luminous hands typical of a German WWII military watch. The lume no longer works. The crystal, made of glass, is likely original. The case, an unusual cushion style, is made of “Staybrite” stainless steel. The case and crystal are in good condition, showing light wear. The movement is unsigned. Huber purchased movements from a number of high-end manufacturers. This watch was tested over multiple days and keeps perfect time. The chronograph function works perfectly. The band is a 19mm genuine lizard Speidel made in Canada. It is unworn. The dial is 2.75cm. Total length of watch: 4cm. All said, this handsome chronograph is in cheerful condition and needs nothing. It is ready to be strapped to your wrist or take its place in your collection of cherished timepieces. It is unlikely that you will ever find another monopusher with a black dial in a cushion case. Its good condition and WWII German provenance makes this watch even more unusual.
