His natural obsession with the mechanism of time led him to start his own watchmaking company; for decades Lang has restored exotic chronograph movements and even upgraded the already exquisite pieces to include further complications, earning him the nickname of “Mr. Chronograph.” From the debut of a regulator watch, the rattrapante chronograph, the creation of the Delphis watch, the Pathos watch, and the Tourbillon Regulation he has stunned the world with his accomplishments of skill and beauty which has led to many international awards. Chronoswiss has become an icon of Superior watch manufacturing that rivals elite Swiss brands, with their unique appearance and traditional hand craftsmanship. The featured watch is an Automatic, Platinum Chronoswiss Chronoscope. This watch features a 38 mm, Platinum case with an automatic mechanical caliber C.125/Enicar 165 movement. The Chronoscope is homage to the pioneering watchmakers of the 19th century; the first automatic wristwatch-chronograph with a crown integrated pusher. The Chronoscope combines the unconventional beauty of a regulator dial with the classical characteristics of a chronograph. This piece employs a single pusher integrated into the crown to start, stop and reset the chronograph. The vintage-style regulator white dial has numeral minute markers, a 12 hour subdial with Roman numerals and a chronoscope. Completing this piece is a black leather strap with contrast stitching and a Chronoswiss tang buckle that is attached to the case with screws. This piece is also water resistance up to 30 meters. Personal Note—I love the look of the Chronoscope… I think the Regulator style dial with the classic chronograph functions is very clean and sophisticated. It was the first automatic wristwatch-chronograph with Regulator dial with central handling of all chronograph functions through a crown-integrated pusher.
