New Page 1Hello dear friends, today for sale just now~ a absolutely unique original antique circa 1900 or early Art Nouveau decorative frame with mounted watch to be used as desk clock. Absolutely masterpiece, highly decorative piece with hand painted enamel on copper plaque in center depicting a maiden playing on harp under cherry blossom tree. Solid wooden frame covered with natural material veneer on front and ebony wood on back. The frame jeweled with enamel and gild metal floral motifs. Also big Art Noveau arch with grape cluster in red enamel made of pewter and gild gold plating. The watch with enamel dial with blue roman numerals. Original convex crystal glass in gild brass casing.The watch is in working condition running accurate but it is not serviced. This is old watch and comes without any warranty. The frame is excellent preserved for its age with only minimal hairlines on veneer due to age, absolutely insignificant just the kiss of the time. All enamel elements in excellent condition. The frame without any markings or signature comes from private collection. European origin in my opinion. Size: 20cm. x 16cm.
Condition: as is all original as is found with original box, no missing pieces. All complete. Wear on lithography due to age and paling.
