An exceptional antique 15 carat yellow gold, long and short fetter style Albert watch chain; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections This exceptional, fine and impressive double Albert necklacehas been crafted in 15 ct yellow gold. The fetter style Albert watch chain consists of twelve elongated oval links, separated by twelve sets of three smaller rounded links. Each of the links are hallmarked with the 15 ct gold fineness mark (15.625). The chain is fitted to either end with a hallmarked swivel clasp, and a spring loaded bolt ring fastening. The claps are hallmarks with the 15 ct fineness mark (15.625) and the maker's mark 'EC'. The length of the chain (15") allows it to be worn as both a necklace or a watch chain. A T-bar suspends from a large jump ring, which can move freely along the length of the chain. Condition This exceptional antique 1900's Albert chain is fine quality and a very good gauge of gold. The chain is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to each link and clasps, in keeping with age. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery/estate jewelry.
