This auction is for a fantastic Glashutte Original watch. This watch includes a big date display complication at 4:00 which makes it clear that this watch is something special. The back face of this Navigator / Aviator style watch adds a rugged and sporty edge to this watch, although it can still be easily worn with a suit (in fact, I loved it when I still wore suits regularly -- dressy enough to compliment my attire while letting folks know that I might rather be outside). The white sweep second hand with the small Glashutte emblem reminds you of the precision movement within.This watch comes with Glashutte's spectacular stainless bracelet which is exceedingly smooth -- as silky as stainless steel gets. I really like this watch and have recommended them to friends, and always recommend this bracelet -- as nice as a leather strap might be, it would not match the bracelet. The watch is 39mm in diameter not counting the the crown and 12mm in thickness at the middle of the slightly domed crystal. Between the size and the bracelet, it feels great on the wrist. It is probably obvious that I really like this watch and I know that I might regret selling it, but I have other watches that get much more wrist time and am ready to shrink my collection.Along with the watch you will get two extra links (the bracelet currently fits my 7 3/8" wrist without the extra links) and the tiny screws that are used to attach them, plus the Glashutte double box. The inner box is a substantial wooden box which is in great condition, and it sits inside a cardboard box. Glashutte includes a matching wooden loupe in the box and that is also included -- a cool little addition that lets you better appreciate the watch.
