The Case A case built by the Iconic Ervin Piquerez,Bassecourt, renowned for some of the most iconic divers cases with the most distinctive styling and attention to detail. Note this cases ALL original Satin bead blasted finish throughout, this is the watch's ORIGINAL finish and is frankly in outstanding condition. Coming in at 35mm in diameter (excluding crown) 37mm (inclusive) with an approximate lug-to-lug height of 42mm, perfectly sized as far as vintage goes, and wears larger partly due to the longer prominent lugs. The case is interesting Featuring the orriginal Crossed Hatched crown one of the earliest examples of a signature EPSA cases would long be associated with (see our other Listings including a LIP supercompressor and the Iconic Enicar sherpa guide 600 for more EPSA cased watches) - CH313813 from 1953, registering the compressor case by Ervin Piquerez,Bassecourt. This patent can be seen on the Glycine Compressor Automatic watches. Not invented but used by Glycine. The Glycine Compressor line is KNOWN for using this invention in the '70s with that era's distinguished cases.
