The bezel of this stunningly beautiful 14K gold women's Angelus watch is prong set with 28 full cut (58 facet) round brilliant top grade diamonds measuring 2.3 mm, with a total weight of 84 points (84/100 carats), with clarity VS1, color G-H. The case and fine mesh bracelet are 14 K gold, cosmetically in excellent condition with no dings, no mesh breaks, and no evident damage to bezel settings. I have a written appraisal from Windsor Jewelers in Indianapolis issued to the prior owner in 1999 for $3500.00 (in 1999 dollars, of course) based on the value of the diamonds and gold alone. I also have the original bill of sale showing what that prior owner paid for the watch in 1999, $2300.00. The weight of the gold in the watch and case was represented to me as approximately 1.5 ounces. This watch has been extremely well cared for, infrequently worn, and shows very few signs of use. The gold mesh band is sized to fit a 6 1/2 inch wrist and is mounted directly and permanently on the lugless case . The watch measures 25 mm in diameter and contains a gilt color dial with gold color markers (no numerals) and a blue cabochon setting crown. The watch hosts a Swiss quartz movement, and was recently serviced (cleaned and battery replacement). No papers other than Appraisal and Bill of Sale. Comes in a grey suede generic box appropriate to the watch.
