I have been told this magnificent Bueche Girod watch is one-of-a kind. I have spent weeks searching the internet for this watch or one that closely resembles it. I kept coming up empty. Might just be OOAK. Man's watch is from the 1970's & was very rarely worn as owner (man) thought it was too feminine looking. It has been very hard to photograph & scan as I don't have a close-up lens & the scanner catches the glare from the gold. Lucky auction winner will be amazed at how truly unique & beautiful this timepiece is. Watch face & link band are 18k gold, (marked on clasp) & total weight is approximately 52 grams. Stainless back has numbers of 7604 & 25510. Back has never been removed so I do not know how many jewels (if any) are inside the case. Watch & link band have a finish similar to Florentine only more exaggerated, making it look sort of like tree bark. Piece is manually wound & is in excellent working condition. Face is 3/4" across, band is adjustable - 7" to 7 3/4" & graduated - 3/4" to 1/2" at clasp. This is a wonderful collector piece. Picture below was scanned for close-up.
