This is an auction for a very rare early pocket watch movement by "Martino aParis" which I think is made by one of the French Royal appointed watch and clock makers by the same "Martin" name, also in Paris. The watch from what i can tell is from 1690-1715 and has almost all its original "fire" Gilding still wonderfully bright. The watch movement is complete and winds, also ticks when face down but quickly stops when face up so i assume it may need some minor attention to have in perfect working order but what it does have is the stunning original dial. Just a super rare original early movement, ticking and complete! Size: Approx 48.5 mm across. Any questions please ask.
