CASE: stainless steel, original, signed on back "Chronographe 1887 - 1987 Eberhard & Co Automatic - 3ATM Suisse 31011/B6 Navy Master" with bevelled edges and six screws - very elegant.DIAL: dark grey, with 18 carat gold markers. The dial has a triple calendar, showing the day and month in white, with the date shown by a white crescent at the end of a grey pointer hand. The chronograph registers have red hands, and the 24 hour register with seconds hand has gold hands matching the hour, minute and main chronograph hands. The 24 hour register is very useful when setting the date, as one can see at a glance whether it is am or pm. This combination of colours produces a beautiful effect. The dial is original and signed "CHRONOGRAPHE 1887-1987 EBERHARD & CO" and "SWISS MADE".CROWN: registered watertight stainless steel with eight 18 carat gold balls, original, signed "E". It comes with its original Eberhard box and papers, including its guarantee booklet stamped by a jeweller in Verona, Italy on 20 April 1991, and its instructions booklet, which indicates that the Navy Master model was brought out to celebrate the centenary of the firm (Eberhard was an official supplier of watches to the officers of the Italian Royal Navy between the wars, hence the name of this model). I include an original advertisement for the watch.
