This fantastic 1940's vintage Angelus Chronodato triple date chronograph is another outstanding watch from the depths of my collection. It is an authentic and beautiful vintage watch in excellent condition that has obviously had very little wrist time in its nearly 70 year life. The gold plated case is 38 mm in diameter without the crown. It is in excellent condition with no major dings, dents or scratches. The silver dial is original and not repainted. It is beautiful. The 6 hands are gold and original.The crystal is flawless. The Angelus 217 caliber movement is correctly signed. It has no signs of previous repairs or corrosion. It runs strong, keeps time and the chronograph and calendar features function correctly. I do not know when the movement was last cleaned and oiled, but it would likely benefit from a service if you intend to wear it on a daily basis.This watch comes on a new high-grade padded and stitched lizard grain genuine leather strap with a gold tone tang buckle.
