Vintage 1956 MANAGER OR DIRECTOR WEAR TEST PROTOTYPE WATCH UPGRADED AT FACTORY TO A 32ND DEGREE MASONIC DIAL AND 505 MODEL MOVEMENT-- THIS WOULD HAVE ORIGINALLY BEEN A 500 MODEL MOVEMENT. 34mm across middle of case and 44mm lug to lug. Hamilton 1956 gold filled Titan case. Original 32nd degree Masonic dial -- applied hour markers and unusual second hand. running keeping time about 3 minute a day fast from old store collection of watches. Watch not serviced but running with a new battery and keeping time at present. Original GOLD FILLED TITAN CASE WITH A DISPLAY BACK ONLY MANAGERS OR DIRECTORS WERE ALLOWED TO WEAR ACCORDING TO RENE RONDEAU BOOK. THE ORIGINAL DISPLAY BACK IS GOLD PLATED NICKEL AS THE PHOTO OF THE INSIDE OF THE BACK SHOWS THE ORIGINAL GOLD PLATEING AND THE BACK IS WORN TO THE NICKEL FROM USE, THIS COULD BE REPLATED TO MATCH THE CASE BUT I HAVE LEFT IT AS FOUND. NEW band on watch. New plastic crystal. I am selling as is for all electrics are tempermental at best. ALL BELOW IS GUESSING ---- I CAN GUESS AS GOOD AS ANYBODY AND THIS IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED MORE THAN NORMAL BACKTRACKING WITHOUT RECORDS OR LOGS OF HAMILTON.WHO AMONG THE MANAGERS OR DIRECTORS WAS A 32ND DEGREE MASON AND HAD ENOUGH RANK TO TAKE --AFTER THE WEAR TEST PERIOD WAS OVER--HIS WATCH AND HAVE THE DIAL DEPARTMENT REFINISH IT TO A 32ND DEGREE MASONIC DIAL AND HAVE THE MOVEMENT DEPARTMENT INSTALL A 505 MODEL MOVEMENT FOR PERSONAL OWNERSHIP AND USE. AT THAT POINT YOU HAVE A GROUP TO CHOOSE FROM WHO MIGHT HAVE OWNED THIS WATCH.
