A Lange & Sohne 216.032 Saxonia, 216032, 18k rose gold on a strap with an 18k rose gold buckle, manual wind Lange Caliber L941.1, silver dial with rose gold index hour markers, small seconds at 6 o'clock display back, sapphire crystal, 45 hour power reserve, size: 37 mm, thickness: 7.7 mm, water resistant to 30 meters, new with original box and papers dated 2013.
This is an 18k rose gold A. Lange & Sohne Saxonia 216.032. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold ALS tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings on the inside. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and engraved with "MADE IN SACHSEN – A. LANGE & SOHNE – GLASHUTTE," and a serial number with several hallmarks. It has a push/pull winding crown, The 37mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is silver with applied faceted rose gold baton and luminous dot index hour markers, gold epee hands, and an outside minute track. There is a silver running seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock that resets to zero with the winding crown. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet and it has a 46-hour power reserve at full wind. The 7.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne Saxonia 216.032 has a mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L 941.1 movement, with fausses cotes and cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, several in screwed gold chatons, 164 components, and a shock absorber device. It includes straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating Nivarox® flat balance spring. It has a swan neck micrometer regulator, a hand-engraved balance bridge, and a precision beat-adjustment system with a whiplash spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz).
