This is an 18k rose gold Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer 58-01-01-01-04. It has a leather strap with an 18K rose gold deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 5 screws, and engraved around the polished perimeter with "GLASHUTTE ORIGINAL – 5 ATM," and various hallmarks. The 45mm diameter solid three-body case, stepped angled bezel, and downturned lugs are polished, with fine-brushed edges. It has a stop-seconds feature: when the winding crown is pulled out to set the time, the minute and seconds hands immediately jump to zero, producing an extremely accurate setting as they become in perfect alignment. It has a matte silver dial with l’argenture grainée, and painted black Roman numeral hour markers, around a perimeter railroad style milled minute chapter ring. It has blued poire hands, and a large Panorama double disc date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position; the date changes with a single jump at midnight. There is a subsidiary running seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and at 12 o'clock is a 45-hour power reserve dial with a day and night indicator circle at the 6 o'clock position that turns black for P.M and white for A.M. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer rating (COSC), and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 13mm thick case, dia l, and movement are all signed. This Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer 58-01-01-01-04 has a mechanical manual winding Glashutte caliber 58-01 movement. It's ¾ plate, rhodium-plated, with cotes de Geneve/ribbed and fausses cotes embellishment, including some hand engraved designs and beveled component edges. It's constructed with 58 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance with 18 screws that's adjusted to 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, and a swan-neck regulator. It has the stop-seconds hacking mechanism with minute detent, and the movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
