This beautifully running Elgin Trenchwatch was given as a gift to William Earnest Reininger in 1917. It will turn 100 this year. I did some research and found that his house in New Orleans stood where the Superdome now resides. He shipped out three months after receiving this watch from what I also found, so there's a good possibility this went with him to Europe. This watch has been cleaned and timed and keeps good time for a 99 year old watch. I am not a certified watchmaker so I am listing this item in "as is" condition although I've never had a problem with it. I have had many years of enjoyment from this watch. It's an O size movement. Serial number is on the movement in photo so you can look it up online. 15 jewels, and as you can see has been well taken care of.Message for any questions
