Masterpiece Calendrier Retrograde Gents Watch by MAURICE LACROIX This is a stainless steel Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Calendrier Retrograde Manual Wind MP7268-SS001-310. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a pull-out fluted onion winding crown, and an oval push button corrector for the date at the 8 o'clock position on the case band. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 8 screws, and the perimeter is engraved with "MASTERPIECE MP7268 SWISS MADE 5 ATM," and a serial number. The 46mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lapidated lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is solid oxidized silver, with white and silver accents, epee steel hands with luminous inserts, applied steel Roman numeral hour markers in a brushed silver reserve, and small baton indices around a perimeter minute chapter ring. There is a white retrograde date arc between 9 and 11 o'clock; the retrograde calendar automatically flips back to the begining of a month when it reaches the 31st and manual correction is necessary when a month is less than 31 days. It has a white 40-hour power reserve between 1 and 3 o'clock, and there is a silver-rimmed subsidiary dial for the running seconds at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/166 feet, and the 14.2mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's rhodium plated with a fausses cotes scroll form pattern on the bridges. It's constructed with 35 Jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance thats adjusted to 5 Positions, a grand Calimacon balance spring, coated black & gold polished steel screws, and a micrometer regulater. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz).
