This is the only single winder for hand-wound watches, model W31001 from Sempre collection made by Orbita Corporation. Totally unique in concept, the winder winds, but never over-winds, virtually any manually wound mechanical watch ever made. Replicating finger winding action, precision collets (mechanical fingers) grasp the watch crown and wind the watch as you would. An ingenious microprocessor control senses the increasing resistance as the mainspring is being wound and automatically stops winding when the watch approaches the fully wound state. The module is placed in a gorgeous box made of solid burl wood with high-gloss lacquered finish. It measures 5.1 inches in height, 9.7 inches in width, 7.8 inches in depth. The device is powered by AC/DC adapter, or alkaline batteries (nor included).
