For information call Mauricio at 310.433-9293 The tradition of luxury Gevril watches began in the middle of the 18th century.  Jacques Gevril was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, where he began to earn his reputation as a renowned master of technical watchmaking.  In the beginning of his career, he helped to restore and repair various timepieces.  He branched out and began creating his own unique watches in 1743, the year he created his first Chronometer.  Gevril’s work continued in 1744, when he built his first Repetition Dial.  He cemented his legacy as a great watchmaker in 1758, when he became the first exporter of Swiss timepieces, which was a result of a special request from the King of Spain to craft the royal’s personal timepiece. The Gevril legacy of fine and luxurious watches continued beyond the life of Jacques Gevril, thanks in large part to his children.  In 1784, Jacques’ son, Moyse Gevril, became a master of creating fine timepieces.  As a result, the Gevril business continued to expand, specifically through the integration of enameling and dial creation into the manufacturing of their watches.  Today, the company continues to produced some of the most elegant and elite watches in the world.  However, many Gevril watches are also considered to be collectors’ items, thanks to their historical value. The featured watch is a Stainless Steel, Gevril Limited Edition Avenue of Americas Automatic Moon Phase. Part of Gevril's prestigious Avenue of the Americas collection, this timepiece, which is limited to 500 pieces, features a delightfully illustrated moon phase function at the center of the dial. Measuring to 34 x 44 mm, the large, tall rectangular case makes a statement, but it conforms easily to different wrist sizes. The watch case and highly polished bezel are Stainless Steel and it's complemented by a supple blue crocodile leather strap with tonal stitching. The blue guilloche dial includes white Arabic numerals, three-handed movement, and a day-and-date dual window sitting below 12 o'clock. Other features include a 25-jeweled automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve, curved sapphire crystal for excellent scratch resistance, and water resistance to 50 meters, which is suitable for swimming but not for diving. Personal Note--Gevril watches are a new-found favorite of mine... With an updated retro feel that blends a sense of history with current style, the watch offers a bevy of small artistic flourishes including a uniquely patterned guilloche dial and a highly stylized Arabic numeral display that is raised off the surface of the dial. The watch is attractive and the size is exceptional and surprisingly fits to many different wrist sizes. Truly a piece that will not go overlooked when worn!!!                           Never Worn with Box and Papers

Let me start by saying, I have looked over Ebay, and boy, there sure are a lot of suspicious looking watches and suspicious looking sellers out there! That being said, many people are apprehensive to buy an expensive item on Ebay and, on the Internet in general. What if something goes wrong? PLEASE be careful & know who you are buying from. I have been a Watch Collector for more than 30 years & I personally have a huge collection. We have been selling, buying and trading watches since the early Internet days. In addition, I have been selling Cars on Ebay since 1998 with 100% positive feedback at Classbenz (check it out under seller's name search). I take great pride in only selling watches that I would personally want to own and wear. All of the watches that I sell are authentic; we do not sell or purchase replicas. Even if you are not ready to purchase now, feel free to explore the many watches that we have in stock by clicking on the link below which will direct you to our other listings. We do take trades. If you have a watch and were considering buying one of ours, let us know and we will try to help you work out a fair transaction. If, upon receipt, you discover that a watch is not exactly as described in the auction, we will gladly accept it back for a 100% full refund. We want this to be a positive experience for everybody. Please check our feedback and bid with confidence. We have over 100 watches in stock and are constantly buying, selling and trading. Please feel free to consider us for your next purchase. We have an extensive network and deal with all brands. We are not an authorized dealer for any particular brand, nor do we claim to be.
