FP Journe Octa Sport "JEAN ALESI" limited edition to 99 pieces commemorating Jean Alesi's participation in the Indianapolis 500, blackened aluminum case on a rubber strap with an aluminum deployment buckle, the case has wear on the surface of the ceramic around the bezel, FP Journe caliber, power reserve, date indicator, day / night indicator, crown at 4 o clock, black dial with luminous hands and arabic numerals, Jean Alesi on the dial along with the Lotus racing symbol and Indy 500 logo, sapphire crystal, display back, weighs a total of 53 grams,size 42mm, thickness 10.5mm, Fine condition with original box and papers dated 9 / 2015.
This is an aluminum alloy FP Journe Octa Sport Automatic Reserve Linesport "JEAN ALESI." It has a composite rubber strap with a rubber-coated triple folding deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a 3-position push/pull rubber-c lad winding crown. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws and engraved with "FP.Journe – Inv. Fecit – Octa Sport – Automatique," and a serial number. The 42.7mm diameter solid aluminum alloy case with rubber inserts (there are 72 rubber inserts to protect the watch), integral lugs, and rounded bezel are satin/polished. The dial is black with applied Superluminova Arabic numeral hour markers, and luminous squares on a railway-style perimeter minute track. The epee hands have Superluminova inserts. "Jean Alesi" is on the dial along with the Lotus racing symbol and Indy 500 logo. There is a white subsidiary dial for the constant seconds at 6 o'clock with a gasket-shaped rim, red numbers, and a red indicator hand. There is an arched indicator at 10 to 11 o'clock for the 120-hour power reserve, and a bean-shaped day/night indicator is at 9 o'clock. There is a large date aperture window at 1 o'clock with an instan t jump calendar, and it's water resistant, and the 10.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding FP Journe caliber 1300-3 movement has unidirectional automatic winding, and the rotor is also made of Aluminium alloy with an additional tungsten segment to increase the winding speed. It has 40 jewels, 286 components, and the monometallic balance has four adjustable inertia weights, and there is an Anachron free-sprung flat balance spring, a Nivatronic laser-soldered balance spring, and a mobile stud holder with a pinned GE stud. It has a Titanium off-centered winding rotor with a Tungsten segment barrel with a slipping spring. There is circular Côtes de Genève embellishment on the bridges, with circular graining on the baseplate. It has polished screw heads with chamfered slots, and chamfered and circular grained wheels. The steel components are hand polished and chamfered. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). This FP Journe Octa Sport "JEAN ALESI" commemorates the driver's participation in the Indianapolis 500.
