Gallet PVD Stainless Steel Automatic Chronograph
Outstanding condition on thislate 1960's / early 1970's Gallet PVD Chronograph. It is a big watch for the period measuring 40.9mm lug tip to lug tip and 40mm across w/o the crown. The stainless steel case has a matte black PVD coat - very cool! It looks great at any age, let alone for a 40-year-old watch! The signed black dial is in wonderful condition with its original finish and perfectly aged luminous markers and hands. It has a day/date window at 3 o'clock as well as a contrasting red flyback hand. The watch is powered by the legendary Valjoux 7750 automatic wind movement with 17 jewels. This is the REAL Valjoux 7750. Not just another ETA made piece! It comes recently serviced and is keeping good time. All chronograph functions are working as they should (start, stop, and flyback). Along with service, we installed a brand new crystal. This one comes ready to wear on a brand new textured Zulu Diver strap.
