It has a composite rubber strap with a stainless steel Audemars Piquet deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back secured with 8 screws, and engraved with "ROYAL OAK – 30th ANNIVERSARY – CITY OF SAILS – LIMITED EDITION," and a high relief medallion with two rac ing sailboats. It has a hexagonal screw-down winding crown and chronograph pushbuttons, and the brushed hexagonal bezel has 8 gold hexagonal screws. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, integral lugs, and flat bezel are brushed. The dial has a grey clous-de-Paris "tapestrie" pattern center, and luminous faceted radial Arabic numeral hour markers around a black reserve. It has luminous baton hands, and a luminous red-tipped center sweep chronograph hand. There is a grey perimeter reserve with a luminous 60-minute/second scale and red Arabic numerals every five seconds. It has three black subsidiary dials, including a 12-hour chronograph totalizer with the distinctive red Alinghi logo, a running seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute register is at 3 o'clock.
