This watch has had two owners: the original purchaser and his daughter. It was used full-time for 18-20 years, then put in a drawer when the owner began using a wrist watch in the early 1950s. From the 1970s to 1990s, the daughter occasionally used it as a pendant but otherwise it has been in a velvet-lined drawer. It continue to keep excellent time when wound up.  The movement, dial, hands, and case are original to the watch. The movement finish and inlay are in original condition. All mechanical repairs have been completed with original factory parts. Normal wear on case. The dial does not contain any hairlines or chips. Hands feature original luster and color.
