Fortis B-42 Chronograph100% AuthenticRetail: $3,450 I purchased this watch I want to say, around 2005 - A Fortis dealer in Miami had discounted some models and I got it for a bit less than the $3,450 Price tag. It has mostly sat in my safe for the past 10 or so years so I think it's time to let it go to someone who will enjoy it. This is one of those watches that in person, is just stunning. The blued steel hands and indices shine and reflect light like diamonds, this watch looks so damn good on your wrist with the Tritium dial, I really hate to let it go... It's a real pleasure to wear too, you can really enjoy the sound and feel of the hefty Valjoux 7750 movement turning and winding. The watch is in really good shape as a result of rarely being worn - I only wore it for special occasions. This is a pretty rare model and most of them that come on the market are in poor shape. The Cognac leather strap does show some wear but the watch itself is mint - no scratches on the bezel, crystal or case. The watch was serviced by Fortis about 3 years ago. The lume still glows but it's not very bright anymore. The bezel and hands are a beautiful dark blue color and the dial is a nice cream. In addition to the watch and it's packaging, also included is a black Fortis strap/buckle and a 'Worn and Wound' nato strap that was custom made in New York for me. Priced to sell at just $1,595 Shipping is Free. Thanks for looking!
