SUPERB VINTAGE OMEGA SEAMASTER DATEPRE-DE VILLE IN AN AMAZING CONDITION!
AUTOMATIC WRIST WATCH, MINT ORIGINAL DIAL, NEAR MINT STAINLESS STEEL CASE, SWISS MADE 1960’s * * * COLLECTOR’S ITEM * * * Omega Automatic Seamaster pre De Ville, from my private collection, a beautiful and classic timepiece with a wonderful timeless design. The watch has been manufactured in Switzerland around 1960 and is very hard to find in this original condition, being highly sought after by collectors. I consider the watch to be in an amazing condition for its age, it works well and keeps good time. It really looks superb on the wrist! CASE Stainless steel unishell, one piece case in superb condition. It measures 35 mm in diameter excluding the original signed crown, 41 mm lug to lug. The embossed Seamaster logo to the rear is in excellent condition, with no signs of worn. The case is really attractive, near mint condition, it has just a few very light scratches and little signs of use. Amazing case! Please, look at the photos to judge the condition by yourself. MOVEMENT I prefer not to take risks manipulating the beautiful case by opening it to see the movement. This is the reason why I don't have any photos showing the inside, sorry. A watchmaker opened it some time ago to review it and, if I remember correctly, it was the great in-house Omega 562 caliber, although I am not 100 % sure. I guarantee the originality of the movement, no dubs about it. I bought the watch to the original german owner, who assured me that all parts were original. DIAL Original champagne / silver dial in mint original condition, highly sought after by collectors. Signed “Omega Automatic”, “Seamaster” and “Swiss Made”. Guaranteed original factory finish, never restored. It has a beautiful, shiny, silver markers in mint condition. Much better when you see it live, it’s truly hard to find one in this condition. Collector’s dream dial! HANDS Original baton style silver hands, keeping the original tritium. In very good vintage condition, as shown in the pics. Very little signs of worn. CRYSTAL Original omega acrylic crystal, signed in the center with the omega logo. It’s in excellent condition, it has just a few light marks from use and minor damage near the 9 and 3 positions, almost invisible to the eye, so I have decided not to replace it. I believe this is the original factory crystal, as a collector I consider it gives a high value and lots of charm to the watch. BAND It comes on a NOS (new old stock) Kreisler strap, a high-quality watch band never worn, in mint original condition. I believe it was made between 1970's and 1980's. It is made of genuine lizard leather, in perfect condition, very smooth, flexible and ready to use. This Kreisler band has a much higher quality than the current Chinese lizard bands. Made with the highest quality standards, you can feel it when you wear it on your wrist. I offer this fine band as the perfect complement for this special timepiece. * * * * * * * * * SOLD AS IS.
