A Lange & Sohne 260.032 Richard Lange Pour Le Merite, 260032, limited edition to 200 pieces, 18k rose gold case on a rose gold tang buckle, manual wind A. Lange & Sohne caliber L044.1 movement, designed to be one of the most accurate movements ever with the use of the fusée-and-chain transmission with 636 chain parts, 36 hour power reserve, hacking seconds, stunning 3 part enamel dial, iconic blue steel hands, display back showcasing the fusee chain, size 40.5, thickness 10.7, Like New with original box and papers dated 12 / 2014.
This is an 18k rose gold A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Pour Le Merite 260.032. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold ALS tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and engraved around the polished perimeter with "A. LANGE & SOHNE – LIMITED – GLASHUTTE SA.," hallmarks, a serial number, and the edition number out of 200. The 40.5mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and thin angled bezel are polished. The three-part white enamel dial has a step-down center, Roman numeral hour markers, and a perimeter black printed minute/hour chapter ring with red quarter-hour Arabic numeral markings. There are blued sword hands and in the 6 o'clock position is a recessed subsidiary dial with running small seconds and a blued hand. It has a 36-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 10.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Pour Le Merite 260.032 has a mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L 044.1 movement. It's made from Glashütte 3/4 plate in German silver, with fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishment; the balance-cock and 4th wheel cock are hand engraved making each watch unique. It's constructed with 33 jewels, 279 components, a shock absorber device, and 2 screwed gold chatons. It includes a lever escapement, monometallic balance with 6 eccentric poising weights adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a swan neck micrometer regulator. It has a hand-engraved balance bridge with polished beveled edges, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and a shock-resistant screw balance. There is a balance spring that oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz), a precision beat-adjustment system with a lateral setscrew and whiplash spring. The fusee chain, which is visible through a drop-shaped cutout in the ¾ plate, shows how the intricate chain unwinds from the mainspring barrel onto the fusée during the winding of the watch. The A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Pour Le Merite 260.032 was introduced in 2009 in a limited edition of only 200 examples.
