You are bidding on a minty gold-plated, 57-mm. 17-jewel Reuge musical pocket watch with alarm feature, “The Fountain”. It has a low serial number and it does come with a key. It has an automated scene on the front of a horse drinking from a fountain with a maiden pumping water. The scene is activated by pressing a button on the back. The horse lowers his head to drink while the maiden pumps the water, music plays as the animation begins. It is reputed to be the smallest music box in the world. Hidden in the back under the cover is a “Erotic” scene with two lovers, which is also automated when the same button is pushed. I have tried to blur the actual erotic scene for the faint at heart. Please note; I have started the bidding at $1000. below the average asking price because the watch feature is NOT working. I believe that it has a broken mainspring. It is being sold “AS IS”.         The pictures take precedence over the written description so, please study them carefully because what you see is exactly what you will receive.       Sold “AS IS” and as pictured.    Get your bids in early so you won’t be out-sniped at the last second.   (J). I’ll “let the pictures tell the rest of the story. As additional visual descriptions, they take precedence over any and all of the written descriptions. They are very clear and should leave no doubt as to the condition of this watch. In most cases you are the expert also, so please judge these pictures for yourself. If I have erred in the description at all, it was purely unintentional. The pictures are part of the description so please study them closely and bid on what you see and know. If you would like additional pictures of this watch, I will gladly e-mail them to you. If you are not familiar with watch terms such as hairlines, brassing, double sunk, lever set etc. please ask any and all questions before you bid. I have tried to describe this watch as accurately as possible and if I have omitted anything, it was purely unintentional. I do guarantee the description of the watch however; due to the age of the watch (in some cases more than 100 years old) it is being sold “As Is”. I strongly suggest that all shipments be insured, especially the more expensive watches because I cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss done by The Post office or any other shipper. If you have any questions, I will gladly answer them by e-mail.  Note: I do not ship to Malaysia or Indonesia.  I Must receive payment within 3 days of close of auction. Please check my auctions weekly for new watches. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!  Bidding; If you have no feedback or multiple negative feedback, Do Not Bid.
