A 1950's ENICAR Triple-Date Moonphase Gents Watch in stunning condition. Gorgeous patina to the dial.This is a beautifully complicated watch with full calendar function with day and month windows and a classic date pointer. But that is not all! It also has a moonphase with a wonderful (full of character) 'moonface' applied in gold against the midnight blue background.This watch is in outstanding condition for its age, amazing patina to the dial and superb gold dagger hour and minute hands with red arrow tip to the seconds hand and blue semi-circle pointer.There are only very few signs of wear to the case, crystal, crown, pushers and caseback. The stainless steel case measures 33mm, excl crown, and has 16mm lugs. It is attached to a new replacement Hirsch leather light brown camel-grain anti-allergy strap with silver colour Hirsch buckle.The Felsa 693 automatic movement and the complications are all in full and proper working order. The watch has just been tested on a Timegraph diagnostics machine and is running to an accuracy within 10 secs per day and has a very healthy amplitude reading of 246, which indicates that the watch is NOT currently in need of a service. The Enicar brand was established in 1914 in La Chaux De Fonds, Switzerland, when Artiste Racine - who owned 'Racine Watch Company' reversed the spelling of his own last name. Enicar is an established & well renowned Swiss watchmaker, whose vintage watches are respected by collectors and appreciating in value. The Enicar Triple-Date Moonphase is a rare watch to find and a beauty to behold.
