This is a unique, limited edition Eberhard Triple Date Moonphase Chronograph, assembled in the early 90's, automatic  winding, using a Valjoux 7751 movement. The back of the watch is engraved stainless steel and contains a reference to the name of the ltd. edition, the Edition Homage Abraham Louis Perrelet. The back is engraved with edition designation, serial number, and total production run number (891 of 999) and an  area designed for engraved initials but which is not engraved here.  The rest of the case appears to be yellow gold, probably electroplated over stainless, or even plaque d'or (sometimes called vermeil, gold plating over 0.925 sterling silver) but is not marked as such. This well known Valjoux chronograph triple date movement runs immediately after winding, and keeps good time. All chrono functions, and pushers, appear to operate as they should. There are two small windows just below the 12 o'clock position which reflect the name of the day of the week, in German, and the month, in English. The date is shown by a centrally mounted hand which has a moon shaped crescent pointing to the date number in the outer ring of the dial. Month and date are set by movement of the crown after pulling it out to a non-winding position. The day of the week is set by a small pusher pin in the side of the case at the 10:00 o'clock position. The case is 40 x 40 mm w/o crown, and 42mm with crown. The dial has black roman numeral markers, along with three sub-registers. The dial is decorated with engine turned engraving, (guilloche). The condition of the case, and silver dial, is very good, as is the condition of the gold-tone hands and black markers. There are three small sub-registers at the 9, 12 and 6 o'clock positions. The first sub-register, at 9,  carries a continuous second hand and a 24 hour hand ; the one at 12 is a 30 minute accumulating register in addition to showing the two date and day apertures, and the one at  6 is a 12 hour accumulating register and also has a moonphase window. There is a centrally mounted black sweep second hand for accumulating seconds during the chronograph function. The round pusher at 2:00 PM is the start/stop pusher, and the pusher at 4:00 PM is the reset pusher. The crown is original, and is designed to mimic the design of the two round chrono pushers. The watch is fitted with a high quality brown leather band with the Klaus Kobec signature, with 18mm lug ends, designed to be used with a Kobec deployment clasp, which is fitted and has a signature K on its surface. The deployment clasp is stainless, but is finished in gold tone. The band looks new, and shows no signs of use on either its inner or outer surface, and is not deteriorated in any way. Comes with an Eberhard wooden box which has some exterior marks and contains a pillow on which the watch is strapped in place. Papers include an Edition card in German, a guarantee issued in 1992 showing serial number, an Operator's manual, in German, showing all watch functions and crown positions, and a letter signed by Charles Brandt, president of Eberhard & Co., also in German, attesting to the authenticity of the watch. This is an Eberhard watch with the Eberhard name on the dial,  made for Schweitzer Uhren, who sold several versions of this same watch under the DuBois name.
