This elegant wrist watch was converted from pocket watch. Movement: Huge and heavy, best quality chronometer was manufactured by the Manufacture. The plates are very clean and have only the best build. Works very well, overall condition is very clean. This beautiful watch has the original movement in excellent condition. The watch was very well preserved. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time. Salt left in the watch will combine with moisture in the air to rust metal components of the equipment, casing, etc.- Winding mechanical watch hard may break the spring. If you can avoid it do not wind the watch hard.- When adjusting the clock hands move clockwise only. Counter-clockwise adjustments may damage the mechanism.- If you must adjust counter-clockwise make it for small adjustments (i.e. a few minutes instead of hours).- Be careful when you adjust the speed (faster or slower). Do not make sudden movements or touch other components in the movement especially the pendulum mechanism.
